OPEN SEAT
Conversations About Biblical Greek

The Bible was written in languages full of richness and beauty.

Our goal is to explore the beauty of the New Testament, written in ancient Greek, that can sometimes become obscured in English translations. We desire to bridge the gap of scholarship and make these conversations about Biblical Greek accessible to all curious people. Whether you have studied Greek for years or you are embarking on this journey today, all are welcome to take a seat at the Table.

About

ABOUT US

One afternoon in April 2022, we gathered our tired brains to study for our Greek 4 final. Our class was small, and we always had a good time together. Not much studying happened, but the idea of Open Seat was birthed. We were laughing and talking over one another, but we knew we had started something special. Most of us graduated from Colorado Christian University that May, but we kept the idea going with summer zoom meetings and our group chat. A year later, three of us were ready to give it a go. We brainstormed, researched, sought advice, prayed, and started recording. Our desire is to glorify God and grow deeper in our knowledge of His Word. We invite you to join us on this journey!

I graduated from Colorado a Christian University with a degree in Biblical Studies. This year I have seen at least one concert every month and have seen over 80 different bands live! I have a passion for the homeless and have been involved in a homeless ministry for the past 5 years. My big goal in life is to be a women’s ministry speaker, getting to share the good news with other women and encourage them in the Lord. I have lived in Denver the past 5 years but moving to San Antonio Texas soon!

I am a recent graduate from Colorado Christian University, graduating with a B.A. in Biblical Studies and a Minor in Church History. My favorite things are great coffee, spending time with friends, reading books, playing or listening to music, and playing frisbee golf. I am currently employed as banker with a major financial institution, but I hope to someday do vocational ministry. I am a member at Storyline Fellowship in Arvada, Colorado, and I currently live in Lakewood, Colorado.

I am a recent Colorado Christian University grad who loves living in Colorado surrounded by the Lord's stunning creation. I love mountain towns, skiing, hiking, cute coffee shops, and my Birkenstocks. Taking spontaneous boba runs, having deep late-night conversations, listening to country music, and laughing lots with my friends are some of my favorite things to do. I love taking road trips with my family and exploring the world any chance I get. I am a member at Calvary Redeeming Grace, and I am so thankful for how they have shown me what it means to live out the gospel. I hope that those who listen to this podcast will walk away encouraged and more in awe of our great God. For His glory alone!
